daffodils

What says spring like daffodils? Every year, our local Trader Joe's sells these little bunches of not-alive-looking flowers. (These actually look better in the photo!)

But I know that if i take them home, cut the ends off the stems and put them in water, in a day or two I'll have a beautiful vase of cheery daffodils.We've had an exceptionally rainy March, so these flowers have brought Spring inside, while the storm is brewing outside. Amazing...
